RIO has been working intensively with more than 300 schools in the Southwest for almost a decade - supporting them to improve and innovate.

Originally working in a public sector capacity, we are now a fully independent and internationally recognised social enterprise.

Passionate about social enterprise and innovation, our team of consultants work across the country bringing ideas, support and energy.

We offer everything from curriculum development to support for schools setting up social businesses, from leadership support to continued pupil access to high quality arts provision. Find out more about our services.

Our core team is an experienced and dedicated group of professionals which has been working with schools for many years. On top of that we have a valued bank of consultants and associates with focused expertise, enabling us to pull in exactly the right person to give you what you are looking for.

As well as providing support and running individual learning programmes we actively work with local authorities, businesses and heads' strategic bodies to build relationships, broker partnerships and encourage a thriving economy of skills, passion and energy around schools. In this vein we have been working with PAPH, TAPS, DAPH and NPH to develop Heads’ Space; the ethical place for schools to collaborate, trade and share- www.headsspace.org

We are always looking for new and better ways to support schools and develop opportunities for young people.

2011 has seen the launch of our Social Enterprise Qualification (SEQ ) in the UK, China and Uganda and our consultants have been busy extending our work across the Midlands and even as far away as the Camen Islands.
